2022 Flood Relief

We are sending thoughts to our members and communities affected by the current weather events. We’re here for you.

If you have been impacted by the recent flooding in South East Queensland and New South Wales, please know that we are here to support you now and along the road ahead.

bcu is providing flood relief support for members who have been impacted by the recent flooding across South East Queensland and New South Wales.

bcu's General Manager, Michael Ribbens, said supporting our members, staff, and communities is the number one priority at this time.

“As a member-owned bank, our purpose is to enrich the lives of our members and their communities. Right now, our members and communities are suffering, and we hope these financial support measures will provide some relief.

“We understand that everyone who has been affected by the recent floods will be in their own unique situation and the level of support they might need will vary. I encourage our members who have been impacted by the floods to contact our Member Relations team who will discuss your individual situation and provide support options to assist you.” Mr. Ribbens said.

“Our thoughts are with our members, their loved ones, and the local communities who are impacted. We are fortunate to have incredible local emergency services and community volunteers who are and will continue to provide member support on the ground across Queensland and New South Wales.”
