bcu Board Welcomes New Directors

Following the recent bcu Annual General Meeting (AGM), the bcu Board is progressing further with its succession plan. After nearly a decade with bcu, Grant Wallace has announced that he will depart the company on Friday 30 November. Throughout Grant’s tenure at bcu he has made significant contributions and commitments that have shaped the future of the credit union.

To ensure that the board remains highly-skilled, two new casual Directors have been appointed. The bcu Board will be joined by Port Macquarie local Gary Humphreys and the highly-experienced Louise Clarke.

Gary has more than 20 years of experience operating large corporations across the energy and banking sector, and is an active member of the Port Macquarie community. Gary is a keen bike rider – recently completing a charity bike ride from Melbourne to Port Macquarie, finishing with a half ironman.

Louise joins the bcu Board with over 30 years of experience in the financial services sector, across Australia and Asia.  Louise is based in the New England tablelands region of Northern NSW, and is passionate about building high-performing teams and a strong workplace culture.

With the recent re-confirmation of Michael Wayne Gould and Sinclair Black at the AGM, and the confirmation of Stephen Targett as Chairman, the board is host to a wide range of skillsets, experience and knowledge.
