Meet our South Brisbane local Home Loan Specialist – Husnain Ali.

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself

I was working in Pakistan as a physician before I migrated to Australia with my partner in 2009. Once I arrived, I completed my Master of Business Administration (MBA) while working in the finance industry and progressing to a home loan specialist. I now specialise in purchases, refinances, investment lending, construction lending and bridging lending.

2. What is the most rewarding part of closing a loan?

Helping members achieve their financial milestones is what does it for me. It’s such an important step in so many people’s lives, so having a hand in that is very rewarding.

3. How do you go the extra mile for your members?

Through customer satisfaction and delivering on what I promised. I have always believed in providing a personal level of customer service to my members. Word often travels when someone experiences great or horrible service, so I make it my mission to go above and beyond for my members and ensure I am meeting their lending needs.

4. What do you enjoy most about your job?

A number of things, but mostly the relationship building, flexibility, and complexity.

5. What are your biggest achievements in your career?

My greatest achievement is having built a reputation of being someone who would not take shortcuts and would not let others take shortcuts either.

6. Why do you do what you do; what inspires you to do this work?

Helping people. As lenders, we always need to remember that buying a house is a major milestone in people’s lives. Being able to help families get to that milestone has always given me great satisfaction.
