Problem gambling support
If problem gambling is affecting you or someone close to you, help is available. You can take steps to protect your finances and limit the impact of gambling, including:
- Set up card controls in the mobile app or internet banking to limit how you can use your card (for example, blocking online purchases).
- Reduce your credit card limit to help avoid using credit to fund gambling.
- Protect joint funds by setting joint accounts to two-to-sign so you're not risking shared funds.
- Remove redraw access so any in-advance loan payments can't be used for gambling.
- Register with Betstop, the national self-exclusion register that removes you from Australian licensed online and phone betting services.
