BCU Bank’s mobile lender Christina Morris is a true Clarence Valley local.
Living on a quiet 50-acre property in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, the mother of three spends most of her time caring for the family and her 15 horses and foals.
When she’s not riding horses or fulfilling her role as Treasurer for the Far North Coast Australian Stock Horse Society, she’s driving around Grafton to meet with members and help them with their home lending needs.
With more than 15 years’ experience in the banking industry, Christina can share her expertise to help you buy your first home, refinance your mortgage, or invest in another property.
“I love the flexibility of being able to see clients outside of normal work hours,” Christina said.
“In this day and age, it’s hard for people to take time off work to get to a local branch.
“We can arrange to see clients early in the morning, at night, or on the weekend to suit their busy lifestyle.”
Christina joined BCU in 2019 as a Branch Supervisor in Grafton but decided to become a mobile lender in March this year to help members achieve their financial goals in a different way.
Not only can she set up your home loan from start to finish, she can also help you to get in the best position for approval.
“I recently spoke with a young couple who wanted to borrow $600,000 to buy a home, but financially they weren’t quite ready and were getting rejected by lenders,” Christina said.
“After spending some time with them I was able to help them set up their accounts so they could work towards being able to borrow that figure.
“Six months later they came back to me, and we have now settled that loan.
“I loved being able to simplify the process and put the building blocks in place to help them achieve their dream.”
