How do I change my digital banking transfer limit?

Your transfer limit is the maximum amount you can transfer from your accounts each day using our digital banking services. It helps protect your money, and it can be adjusted to suit your needs.

You can change your daily transfer limit in the BCU Bank app or internet banking:

  1. Go to Settings > Transaction limits
  2. Select the transfer limit you want to update
  3. Choose your new limit from the dropdown list
  4. Click or tap Update

If you’re lowering your limit, the change will happen instantly. If you’re increasing it, your request will be processed within four business hours, and we’ll let you know once it's done.

Security tip: To help protect against fraud, keep your limit set to the lowest amount needed for your everyday banking.

Requesting a higher limit?

If you increase your daily limit above $20,000, it will only be temporary – between one and three business days, depending on the amount.
