The Community Cares Program

What we support

Our program backs local organisations and community-enriching initiatives that align with the five pillars of our Community Engagement Framework:

Sponsorship

Funding for activities that provide brand awareness and/or community engagement opportunities. For example, BCU logo inclusion on your marketing materials, social media tags, or the opportunity to activate at an event and/or display signage.

Donations

One-off financial contributions or goods.

Volunteering

Support through the time and skills of our people.

If you or someone you know is delivering a community initiative aligned with our five focus areas, you can submit a Community Cares nomination.

For assistance or to learn more, please contact your local branch.

Important

• Submissions are reviewed by the Community Cares Committee.
• If selected for support, a local branch manager will work with you to plan and activate the opportunity.
• Due to the high volume of applications, only successful applicants will be contacted.
• Funding applications must be submitted at least 10 weeks before the initiative start date. If this isn't achievable, please contact your local branch to discuss.
• Only nominations submitted via the website will be accepted.
