Local insights shape local impact. The Community Cares program empowers our branch network to support initiatives that strengthen our communities.
If you’re a BCU Bank customer and you know a person or organisation that fits one of our five key support areas that could use some support, you can nominate them for Community Cares.
About this form
- Nomination form must be completed in full to be considered for funding, including specific funding amount request.
- Ensure you identify the key support area your request aligns to.
- Supporting documents can be attached to your email along with nomination form.

Turnaround times
If your application is for an activity or event, nominations must be submitted a minimum of 10 weeks before the activity date. If this time frame isn’t achievable, please contact your local branch to discuss.
Communication
Due to the high volume of applications received, only successful applicants will be contacted.
Successful applications
If your application progresses, a local BCU branch manager will get in touch with next steps and support you in the next stage of bringing our collaboration to life.
Important information
Reporting requirements
As a condition of funding, images and/or video footage of the event or activity may be requested by BCU Bank. If requested, please send them to community.cares@bcu.com.au.
BCU marketing support
If you have promotional collateral or images, please send them through to community.cares@bcu.com.au so we can assist with promoting the sponsorship. We also may share updates internally to celebrate the grassroots initiatives we support.
Please ensure you send through collateral that references the BCU brand so we can approve internally.
