The Directors, Executives and employees of P&N Group (P&N Bank and BCU Bank) extend our heartfelt sympathy to Sharyn and family following the loss of our much loved and highly respected Chief Retail Banking Officer, Brendon Comrie.
Brendon’s tragic passing was unexpected and has deeply impacted all those who knew and worked closely with him.
Brendon held the role of Chief Risk Officer for seven years, leading our Risk and Compliance Division with diligence and integrity. He supported our Board in navigating the complex and ever changing regulatory environment and cared deeply for our customers and our people.
With a strong moral compass and values which perfectly aligned to the ethos of mutuality, Brendon always encouraged and supported those around him to bring their best, helping to develop and nuture the many who have excelled under his leadership.
Having recently transitioned into his new role leading our retail bank, Brendon had already made meaningful and tangible progress, applying his usual pragmatic and caring approach to leading the team.
Brendon leaves an enormous legacy. He will be greatly missed not only for his strategic expertise, leadership and pursuit of excellence, but for his immeasurable kindness and the positive impact he made to our organisation, its people and its customers.
