P&N Group half-year unaudited financial results December 2025

P&N Group key highlights

  • The Group delivered net profit after tax of $15.8 million for the half year to December 2025, up 16% from the same period in the prior year.
  • Loan portfolio grew by 4.2% to $8.2 billion, and customer deposits increased 5.5% to $7.5 billion.
  • Capital increased to 15.06%, and 90 day+ arrears remained well below industry averages at 0.16%.
  • Total number of customers grew by 3,100 to 205,000 and customer satisfaction remained high at ~85%. 
  • Employee engagement remained strong at 79%, positioning the Group as a leader amongst financial services organisations.
  • The Group’s ESG strategy progressed including having achieved Climate Active carbon neutral certification status.

P&N Group (Police & Nurses Limited) recorded strong financial results for the six months to 31 December 2025, delivering a net profit after tax of $15.8 million up, 16% compared to the first half of FY25.

The result reflects the Group’s careful management of Net Interest Margin (NIM), growth, and cost management strategies, and builds on the strong performance in recent years.

Across the Group’s two customer-owned banking brands, P&N Bank (WA) and BCU Bank (NSW and Qld), loans increased by 4.2% to $8.2 billion, while customer deposits rose 5.5% to $7.5 billion.

The Group’s value proposition continued to attract new members, reaching over 205,000 customers across the P&N and BCU brands.
