Police & Nurses Limited (PNL), operating as P&N Group, has announced the appointment of Jacqueline Ryan to the position of General Manager, Business Banking effective 16 May 2022.
With the successful merger and subsequent integration of the organisation’s customer-owned banking brands (P&N Bank in Western Australia and BCU in New South Wales and south-east Queensland), the Group has ambitious plans to continue to grow its national presence and footprint both organically and through future partnerships.
P&N Group CEO, Andrew Hadley said a dedicated and reinvigorated focus on business banking was a key part of the Group’s strategy.
“Following an extensive nation-wide search, I’m thrilled to welcome Jacqueline to the vacant role of General Manager, Business Banking,” he said.
“With an extensive background in business banking gained both in Australia and overseas, Jacqueline most recently held a senior executive role within Queensland Government, leading the QRIDA COVID-19 response loan and business support grant programs.
“Prior to that, Jacqueline held business banking positions with a couple of the major banks, including ANZ, and has international financial services experience having worked with US Bancorp and Wells Fargo in the United States.
“Jacqueline’s strengths lie in her understanding of risk and governance management within the business banking space, building relationships and stakeholder management at a senior executive level, and engaging and building successful and high performing teams.
“I’m very pleased that Jacqueline has chosen to take the next step in her career with us and welcome her as part of our leadership team,” Hadley said.
Ryan said she is excited to have joined P&N Group.
“I am looking forward to working in the customer-owned financial services space for an organisation that truly has its customers at the heart of everything it does and I am excited at the opportunity to make a difference in the Group’s business banking business,” she said.
“Business Banking will play an increasingly important role in delivering on the Group’s strategy and supporting its purpose to enrich the lives of our customers and their communities.”
