Residents in Tweed Heads now have a convenient new banking option with the relocation of a BCU branch to the Tweed Heads CBD.
As a customer-owned bank, BCU doesn’t have shareholders which means all profits made by the bank are channelled back into supporting customers.
Located in Tweed City Shopping Centre, the new BCU Tweed Heads branch highlights the bank’s dedication to supporting local customers and businesses with relevant and accessible banking options where they are needed most.
General Manager BCU, Michael Ribbens said the relocation was a positive development for BCU’s customers and staff.
“The new branch location will help us deliver relevant and enriching customer experiences to those living in and around Tweed Heads,” he said.
“We have seen a growth in membership across the Tweed Heads region recently and we’re pleased to further support this developing market with a modern and fit for purpose branch.
“As a customer-owned bank, we’re passionate about providing our customers with banking options that enable them to interact with us in the way they prefer to.
“The new branch has a range of improved facilities that our research indicated our customers wanted in a physical branch, such as private interview spaces and an internet kiosk.
The new BCU branch opens on Monday 13 December 2021 and can be found at Shop 201a, Tweed City Shopping Centre.
