1. Promoter

The promoter is Police & Nurses Limited ABN 69 087 651 876, trading as BCU Bank ("Promoter"). 

2. Competition Period

The competition commences at 12:01am AEST on 1 August 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 31 August 2026 ("Competition Period").

3. Eligibility

Entry is open to individuals who:

  • Are existing BCU Bank customers at the time of entry during the Competition Period and at the time of the Prize Draw. 
  • Are aged 18 years or over.
  • Hold an active BCU Bank account capable of receiving an electronic funds transfer.
  • Were registered to receive a printed annual report immediately prior to switching to digital delivery.
  • Successfully switch from paper delivery to digital delivery for their BCU Annual Report during the Competition Period.

The following are not eligible to enter:

  • Employees, directors, contractors and officers of the Promoter.
  • Immediate family members of employees, directors, contractors and officers of the Promoter.
  • Business banking customers, where digital delivery options are not available for the relevant communication.

4. How to enter

To receive one (1) automatic entry into the competition, eligible customers must:

  1. Opt in to receive their BCU Annual Report electronically during the Competition Period; and
  2. Maintain the applicable digital delivery preference at the time of the Prize Draw.

No purchase or entry form is necessary to enter.

The Promoter will determine eligible entrants by comparing customer delivery preference records held immediately before the Competition Period with customer delivery preference records held following the Competition Period.

5. Prize

There is one (1) prize available to be won:

  • $500 AUD, which will be deposited directly into the winner's nominated BCU Bank account.

The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for any other benefit.

6. Draw details

The draw will take place at 10 am AEST on 7 September 2026 at Level 8, 100 Edward St, Brisbane City, QLD 4000 (“Prize Draw”).

The winner will be selected at random using an electronic random draw generator from all eligible entries received during the Competition Period.

7. Notification of winner

The winner will be notified by phone, email and/or mail within five (5) business days of the Prize Draw.

8. Prize claim and unclaimed prize draw

If the winner is found to be ineligible or cannot be contacted, the Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw.

Any redraw will take place at 10 am AEST on 22 September 2026. The redraw winner will be notified using the contact details held by the Promoter.

9. Verification

The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and the eligibility of entrants.

The Promoter may disqualify any entrant who:

  • Provides false or misleading information.
  • Tampers with the entry process.
  • Breaches these Terms and Conditions.
  • Engages in conduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the competition.

10. Privacy

By entering this competition, entrants acknowledge that the Promoter may collect, hold, use and disclose their personal information for the purposes of administering the competition, verifying eligibility, contacting the winner, conducting the Prize Draw, awarding the prize and publishing winner information where required or permitted by law or these Terms and Conditions.

For these purposes, the Promoter may use personal information and customer records already held by the Promoter, including records relating to account details and communication delivery preferences.

The Promoter will handle personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost, incomplete or incorrectly recorded entries.
  • The Promoter is not responsible for any technical malfunction, system failure or communications issue that may affect participation in the competition.
  • The Promoter will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered in connection with the competition or prize, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

12. Cancellation or variation

The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the competition at any time where circumstances beyond its reasonable control make it necessary to do so, subject to applicable laws.

13. Regulatory requirements

The competition will be conducted in accordance with all applicable Australian laws and regulations.

14. Acceptance of terms

Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
