1. This Promotion is the Win a $2,000 Prezzee Gift competition

2. The Promoter is BCU Bank (a division of Police & Nurses Limited), ABN 69 087 651 876, AFSL/Australian Credit Licence 240701, Level 6, 556 Wellington Street, Perth WA 6000, telephone 13 25 77.

3. The Promotion is offered through selected participating branches of BCU Bank in Queensland and New South Wales.

4. The Promotion Period for the Promotion is:

a) for the Tweed Heads branch: Monday, 11 May to Saturday, 16 May;

b) for the Port Macquarie branch: Monday, 11 May to Saturday, 16 May;

c) for the Grafton branch: Monday, 18 May to Saturday, 23 May;

d) for the Ballina branch: Monday, 25 May to Friday, 29 May; and

e) for the Toormina branch: Monday, 25 May to Saturday 30 May.

5. There are five Prizes for the Promotion. Each prize is a $2,000 Prezzee eGift Card (total prize pool $10,000).

6. To be an Eligible Participant in the Promotion you must:

a) be 18 years or older and a resident of Queensland or New South Wales; 

b) visit a participating branch during the Promotion Period for that branch and book a home loan appointment with a BCU Home Loan Lender;

c) attend the scheduled home loan appointment with the BCU Home Loan Lender (either in-branch, via phone, or via video) before:

i. for the Tweed Heads branch: Friday, 5 June;

ii. for the Port Macquarie branch: Friday, 5 June;

iii. for the Grafton branch: Friday, 12 June;

iv. for the Ballina branch: Friday, 19 June; and

v. for the Toormina branch: Friday, 19 June.

7. Employees of BCU Bank and their immediate families, and BCU Bank’s contractors and agents associated with the Promotion are not eligible to participate.

7. Eligible Participants may enter the Promotion only once.

8. There is no fee for entry into the Promotion (other than any ordinary costs associated with attending a branch or communicating with BCU Bank). The Promotion is offered as a game of chance.

9. A Prize Draw for the Promotion will take place at BCU Bank, L8, 100 Edward Street, Brisbane, 4000, QLD at 9am on Friday 17 July (AEST). Winners will be determined by random draw from all valid entries received for each participating branch. The Prize Draw is not open to the public and will be observed by a senior manager of BCU Bank.

10. For each participating branch, one Eligible Participant will be randomly selected from all Eligible Participants that booked a home loan appointment at that branch and will be the Winner. There will be one Winner for each participating branch and five Winners in total.

11. Each Winner will be notified by phone call and/or email within two business days of the Prize Draw.

12. To accept and redeem the Prize, each Winner must:

a) demonstrate that they comply with these terms and conditions (including eligibility requirements) and provide proof of identity and residency if requested by BCU Bank;

b) following notification of their win, contact BCU Bank by 5.00pm 31 July (AEST) to confirm acceptance and provide an email address for delivery of the Prezzee eGift Card.

13. If a Winner does not respond by the time stated above, and cannot be contacted after reasonable attempts by BCU Bank, or is otherwise ineligible, the Prize is deemed unclaimed and BCU Bank will conduct a redraw. Any redraw and the subsequent notification and redemption of the Prize will be conducted in accordance with clauses 9 – 13, with the redraw taking place at 9.00am on Monday 3 August (AEST) and, following notification of their win, the Winner needing to contact BCU Bank by 5.00pm Friday 14 August (AEST). If the Winner selected from a redraw does not respond by the time stated above, and cannot be contacted after reasonable attempts by BCU Bank, or is otherwise ineligible, the Prize will be forfeited and not be awarded.

14. Each Winner’s first name and last initial may be published on BCU Bank’s website and may also be published in posts or comments on BCU Bank’s official Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn pages. Publication will occur within a reasonable time after the Prize Draw (and any redraw, if applicable).

15. The determination of valid participation is at the sole and exclusive discretion of BCU Bank. BCU Bank’s decision in relation to who is an Eligible Participant and whether an Eligible Participant can satisfy these Terms and Conditions is final, and no correspondence will be entered into except as provided by law or code and as accepted by BCU Bank.

16. Any questions, complaints or disputes about the Promotion should be directed to BCU Bank using the contact details in clause 2. BCU Bank will use reasonable endeavours to respond within a reasonable time. Nothing in these terms and conditions limits any rights or remedies available under applicable law.

17. A copy of these terms and conditions is available free of charge from participating branches during the Promotion Period and on request from BCU Bank. BCU Bank will keep records of entries, the conduct of the Prize Draw and the award of Prizes in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.

18. BCU Bank reserves the right to disqualify any Eligible Participant who tampers with the entry process.

19. The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash. BCU Bank is not responsible for any variation in the value of the Prize between the Promotion Period and the date of redemption.

20. If the Prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, BCU Bank reserves the right to substitute the Prize for a Prize of equal or greater value. The Prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the Winner is unable to use the Prize as stated.

21. If for any reason this competition is not capable of being conducted by BCU Bank as intended, whether because of computer virus, mobile phone failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of BCU Bank which in BCU Bank’s opinion affects the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Promotion, BCU Bank may in its sole discretion, cancel, modify or suspend the competition, subject to the approval of any Government Department as may be required.

22. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers made available by BCU Bank.

23. BCU Bank is not liable for any loss, cost, expense, damage, or liability suffered or incurred by any person in connection with this Promotion or the Prize (except to the extent of the fraud, negligence, or wilful misconduct of BCU Bank (including that of its officers, employees, contractors, or agents)). BCU Bank makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability or any goods or services offered as the Prize. Nothing under this clause limits any rights under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.

24. Each Winner:

a) if requested by BCU Bank and with the Winner’s consent (which may be withheld), agrees to participate and cooperate in editorial activities relating to the Promotion, including being interviewed and photographed; and

b) to the extent the Winner provides consent under paragraph (a), grants BCU Bank a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use the resulting footage and photographs in all media worldwide, including online social networking sites.

25. BCU Bank collects entrants’ personal information to administer and conduct the Promotion (including verifying eligibility, contacting entrants and Winners, and delivering Prizes). Entrants’ personal information will not be used for direct marketing after the Promotion, unless the entrant separately opts in to receive marketing communications. It is a condition of entry that the information requested is provided. Personal information will be handled in accordance with BCU Bank’s Privacy Policy, available from BCU Bank or at www.bcu.com.au.

26. Prezzee Pty Ltd (the provider of Prezzee gift cards) is not the promoter for this Promotion, and any queries should be directed to BCU Bank. The Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or associated with Instagram, Facebook or LinkedIn.

27. Participation in the Promotion (including attending an appointment with a BCU Home Loan Lender) does not constitute an offer of credit or other financial services or a representation that you will be eligible for such services. Any application for credit is subject to BCU Bank’s assessment and approval processes (including eligibility criteria, verification and lending requirements).
