1. This Promotion is the Follow to Win a Family Pass to Australia Zoo promotion.
2. The Promoter is BCU Bank (a division of Police & Nurses Limited), ABN 69 087 651 876, AFSL/Australian Credit Licence 240701, Level 6, 556 Wellington Street, Perth WA 6000, telephone 13 25 77.
3. All times are in AEST, regardless of entrant location.
4. The Promotion Period for the Promotion is from 12.01am, 29 May 2026 AEST and closes at 12.01am AEST, 19 June 2026.
5. There is one Prize for the Promotion. The Prize is 1 x Family of 5 Admission (2 adults & 3 children (3-14 years)). The total Prize value is approximately AUD $274.40.
6. To be eligible to participate in this Promotion (Eligible Participant) you must:
a. be 18 years or older and living in Australia and;
b. enter in one or more of the following ways:
i. Instagram Entry: follow @BCUBANKING on Instagram and comment on BCU’s Australia Zoo competition promotional post on Instagram during the Promotion Period; or
ii. Facebook Entry: follow BCU’s official Facebook Page and comment on BCU’s Australia Zoo competition promotional post during the Promotion Period.
c. be following the relevant BCU social media account/s where you are submitting your entry (or multiple entries) at the time of entry and at the time of Prize Draw.
For example:
Sarah (21 years old) is an existing @BCUBANKING follower on Instagram who comments twice on BCU’s Australia Zoo promotional post on Instagram during the Promotion Period. Sarah is recognised as an eligible participant on Instagram only (two entries).
Sam (55 years old) follows BCU’s official Facebook Page and @BCUBANKING on Instagram and comments on BCU’s Australia Zoo promotional post on both Facebook and Instagram during the Promotion Period. Sam is recognised as an eligible participant on both Facebook and Instagram (two entries).
Carl (35 years old) is an existing follower of BCU’s official Facebook Page but does not follow @BCUBANKING on Instagram. Carl comments on BCU’s Australia Zoo promotional post on both Facebook and Instagram during the Promotion Period. Carl is recognised as an eligible participant on Facebook only (one entry).
7. Entries must not be offensive, defamatory, or infringe any third-party rights. The Promoter may remove or disqualify any entry that it considers inappropriate.
8. Eligible Participants are limited to a maximum of ten entries in total (five entries per platform). Additional entries beyond the maximum limit will not be accepted as valid entries for the Promotion.
9. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, and the Promoter’s contractors and agents associated with the Promotion are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.
10. There is no fee for entry into the Promotion.
11. A Prize Draw for the Promotion will take place at BCU Bank, Level 8, 100 Edward Street, Brisbane City QLD 4000 on 19 June 2026 at 2.00pm AEST or as soon as practicable thereafter. The Prize Draw is not open to the public (non-members) and will be observed by a senior manager of the Promoter.
12. The Eligible Participant whose entry is the first valid entry randomly selected from all entries at the draw will be the Winner of the draw. We offer the Prize as a game of chance.
13. There will be only one Winner for the Promotion.
14. The Winner will be notified via the platform through which their winning entry was made (either Instagram or Facebook) by direct message and/or comment on the winning entry on the day of Prize Draw.
15. To accept and redeem the Prize, the Winner must:
a. demonstrate that they comply with these terms and conditions;
b. following notification of their win, contact the Promoter by 5.00pm, Tuesday 23 June 2026 AEST to claim the Prize;
c. consent to the Promoter providing their contact details to Australia Zoo; and
d. comply with any electronic voucher redemption and/or booking processes as required by Australia Zoo.
16. The Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw if a Winner is unable to satisfy these terms and conditions or does not contact the Promoter by 5.00pm AEST, Tuesday 23 June 2026 to claim the Prize. The redraw will be conducted at 2.00pm AEST on Wednesday 24 June 2026 or as soon as practicable thereafter (Prize Redraw Date) at the same place and by the same method as the original Prize Draw as stated in clause 11.
17. The redrawn Winner will be notified of their win in the same manner as in clause 14 on the Prize Redraw Date.
18. To accept and redeem the Prize, the redrawn Winner must contact the Promoter by 5.00pm AEST on Friday 26 June 2026 and demonstrate compliance with clause 15(a), (c)-(d).
19. If the redrawn Winner does not validly accept the Prize as outlined in clause 18, the Prize will not be awarded.
20. The Winner’s first name and last initial will be published on the Promoter’s official Instagram and Facebook pages.
21. The determination of valid participation is at the sole and exclusive discretion of the Promoter. The Promoter’s decision in relation to who is an Eligible Participant and whether an Eligible Participant can satisfy these Terms and Conditions is final, and no correspondence will be entered into except as provided by law or code and as accepted by the Promoter.
22. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Eligible Participant who tampers with the entry process.
23. The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash. The Promoter is not responsible for any variation in the value of the Prize between the Promotion Period and the date of redemption.
24. If the Prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize for a Prize of equal or greater value, subject to State regulation. The Prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the Winner is unable to use the Prize as stated.
25. If for any reason this competition is not capable of being conducted by the Promoter as intended, whether because of computer virus, mobile phone failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter which in the Promoter’s opinion affects the administration of the competition, security, fairness or integrity, the Promoter may in its sole discretion, cancel, modify or suspend the competition, subject to the approval of any Government Department as may be required.
26. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers made available by the Promoter.
27. The Promoter is not liable for any loss, cost, expense, damage, or liability suffered or incurred by Eligible Participant or Winner in connection with this Promotion or the Prize (except to the extent of the fraud, negligence, or wilful misconduct of the Promoter (including that of its officers, employees, contractors, or agents). They make no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability or any goods or services offered as the Prize. Nothing under this clause limits any Eligible Participant or Winner’s rights under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.
28. The Winner agrees to:
a. participate and cooperate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Promotion, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed; and
b. grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide, including online social networking sites; and
c. acknowledge and accept that the Winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
29. The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information to conduct the Promotion and provide its services. It is a condition of this Promotion that this information is provided. For more information about how the Promoter may use personal information, please refer to the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, which is available from the Promoter.
30. Australia Zoo is not the promoter for this Promotion, and any queries should be directed to the Promoter.
