We are currently inviting applications for this full time position as Team Leader in our Loans Processing department in the Verifications Team. This role will be based in Perth or Coffs Harbour.

Reporting to the Manager Lending Operations you will be responsible for leading a team of Loans Processing Officers under a group operation across multiple states. You will ensure accurate and timely processing of work requests that include loan verification across multiple channels including digital, proprietary and broker. You will provide exceptional service and a high quality experience for our Members, Brokers and Frontline colleagues across group processing.

You will be responsible for…

  • Manage day to day operations monitoring workflow to ensure adequate resourcing levels across multiple brands
  • Ensure tasks are completed to a high standard within set service expectations
  • Drive a culture of service excellence through leading and mentoring a diverse team
  • Foster and drive teamwork and create highly engaged working relationships across multiple brands
  • Maintain relationships with various related internal and 3rd party service providers
  • Identify and seek opportunities for process improvement, participate and collaborate in working groups fostering change initiatives

To be successful in this role you will have…

  • Demonstrated previous Banking leadership experience with ability to lead and motivate teams to meet service level standards
  • Credit industry experience and knowledge
  • Previous experience with workforce and workflow management
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and the ability to problem solve
  • Advanced communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
