P&N Group is seeking a Credit Risk Review (CRR) Analyst for a part time (3 days a week) position. Reporting to the Senior Manager Compliance as a Credit Risk Review Analyst, you will execute post-approval credit risk (hindsight) reviews in order to provide an independent assessment and analysis of credit policy and procedure compliance.

This will involve:

  • Conducting structured and targeted reviews of lending files to assess for sound lending decisions, prudent ongoing lending risk management and adherence to credit policy, procedures and delegations.
  • Analysis of observations and results to develop review findings and recommendations, identifying trends, and drawing key themes that will support PNL improving lending quality.
  • Developing reporting for the Board and management committees, providing succinct insights into the results and analysis conducted, highlight key insights and draw conclusions that will inform the leadership and enable the responsible leaders to remediate the issues identified.
  • Provide CRR expertise to the business and relevant stakeholders, to improve credit compliance, and foster a risk aware culture.

To be successful in this role we would expect that candidates have

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Substantial Retail lending experience and the ability to recognise, analyse and evaluate residential lending risk.
  • Strong knowledge of credit policies, procedures, practices and products that accommodate personal, business and small commercial lending.
  • Experience in proactively seeking out, understanding and incorporating into process and programmes, regulations that govern lending.
  • Experience in delivering targeted lending feedback and training sessions.
  • Relevant qualifications in credit, compliance and/or risk management is desirable.
