I’m pleased to announce the establishment and launch of our new bcu Brand Advisory Council, which honours the commitment made to members as part of the merger with P&N Bank in 2019.

Our new bcu Advisory Council will comprise external successful east coast leaders who will meet with me quarterly offering their experience, unique skill set, networks and standing within the community to:

  • help leverage the bcu brand strategic opportunities
  • optimise the prosperity, reach and profile of bcu on the east coast
  • positively influence and advocate for bcu and its members.

Our first quarterly meeting is scheduled for the end of July.

Your new Advisory Council

I’m pleased to introduce you to bcu’s inaugural Brand Advisory Councillors, who have been selected for their diversity of experience and range of skills that will benefit bcu’s strategic direction and connection to our members and community.

In delivering on our merger commitment, two past bcu directors have been elected to the newly-formed Council.

bcu’s Council will comprise Sinclair Black, Geoff Hardaker, Wayne Edwards and Bryan Ussher, with their collective experience including the banking, marketing, education and business sectors.

Four of the six Councillors have been selected to date, with the final two vacancies to be filled by influential locals who will help guide the brand and bring further diversity to the Council.
