Take care with cards

Ballina Police have advised of fraudulent payment card activity in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales. Although both ATMs and EFTPOS terminals have been targeted in recent scams, to date no bcu members have reported being affected. However bcu warns members to take extra care with their cards.

Members should check their accounts regularly to ensure all transactions are authorised and report anything unusual to bcu. Members are also advised to stay vigilant when using their card at an ATM or EFTPOS terminal and report anything suspicious to bcu or the police.
