Because we're making online banking safer

With scams and fraud on the rise, BCU Bank is committed to making our online banking safer for our members. This includes ensuring your bank accounts are protected by the highest level of security.

To deliver this, we’ve implemented an additional security layer for our online banking.

So, what's changing?

Human verification

When you log into BCU iBank on a desktop or a mobile device you may need to complete a human verification checkbox. This is to check if your site connection is secure and will be simple and quick to complete.

Computer screen showing example of verification screen to confirm you're not a robot. Text reads "digital.bcu.com.au, checking if the site connection is secure". Check box with text that reads "Verify you are a human". Additional text below reads "digital.bcu.com.au needs to review the security of your connection before proceeding".

Latest browser required

You will now need the latest version of your chosen browser to access BCU iBank. If you have an older version, you will be alerted and asked to update your browser to the newest version. This is to ensure you have the highest level of security and safety when accessing BCU iBank. For support updating your browser, visit iBank System Requirements.

What about the BCU Bank app?

There will be no changes when you log in to the BCU Bank app, but this change will impact you if you use the browser version of BCU iBank on your mobile.
