Human Resources Officer - Brisbane

Reporting to the Senior Manager People Services you will provide administrative support to the HR and People Services functions.

About the role

The HR People Services Officer will primarily be responsible for:

  • Processing HR transactions, including onboarding and employee set up, change of conditions, employee movements, service recognition, and offboarding.
  • Preparing HR letters and documentation
  • Administering the employee exit process
  • Management of the employee uniform distribution process
  • Maintenance and administration of People Services systems, platforms and records
  • Ensuring compliance with People Service policies and procedures
  • Providing guidance on HR processes
  • Management of corporate functions

What will you bring?

  • A genuine interest in Human Resources , preferably with tertiary education in Human Resources or related discipline (or currently studying HR)
  • A friendly, approachable and professional interpersonal style
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Office, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in responding to multiple and simultaneous deadlines while working towards detailed targets and goals.
  • A willingness to learn and develop your career as a HR professional
