Titans launch their own savings account to the Gold Coast CommunityThis month the Jetstar Gold Coast Titans, along with banking sponsor BCU, are inviting the community to put their money where their heart is, by opening a Titans Community Saver Account .As the major sponsor of the BCU Titans Junior Development Program, BCU donates an amount equal to 1% of the average annual savings in each account to the program, which is then delivered back to junior rugby league on the Gold Coast, Ipswich and north coast NSW areas. On Sunday 29 of June, the Titans and BCU, along with Sea FM, are introducing the Titans Community Saver Account to Gold Coast residents with a live broadcast at the park just north of Kurrawa Surf Life Saving Club from 12pm–2pm. Included in the day will be appearances by Jetstar Gold Coast Titans’ players, Titans’ mascots Blade and Turbo, a performance by the Titanettes, Titans’ kids clinic, face painting and a sausage sizzle. By signing up for a Titans Community Saver Account , people are doing two things: first, earning an attractive interest rate on their savings and second, helping generate money for junior rugby league. Those who sign up at the Sea FM live broadcast will be in the running for a football signed by the Titans and all CSA account-holders receive 10% off Titans merchandise at official Titans’ retail outlets and Titans’ home games. What’s more, one lucky person holding more than $100 in a Titans Community Saver Account will go in the draw for a signed and framed jersey plus the club or school who have opened the most number of accounts by the weekend of the Grand Final will receive a visit from Titans players and mascots arriving by helicopter*.
