How to open an account

Congratulations on deciding to open a BCU Direct Saver account!

To open your new account, all you need to do is follow these simple instructions:

Go to the iBank internet banking page and log in as usual.
Go to the pull-down tabs at the top of the screen and select ‘Accounts’.
Under accounts, select ‘Open Account’.
Then follow the prompts.
After opening your BCU Direct Saver account, please call BCU Direct during business hours to link your nominated BCU transaction account. Alternatively, send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it providing your daytime telephone number and BCU Direct will contact you.

If you are a BCU member, you can register for free online banking via iBank internet banking by calling BCU Direct on 1300 228 228.

Not a BCU member?

To register for free iBank internet banking and to open a BCU Direct Saver account, you need to be a member of BCU.
