If homework hurts in your house, BCU might have a solution!

Teaming up with Tutoring Australasia and Councils along the coast, BCU has brought the yourtutor free on-line tutoring service within reach of primary and high school students from Nambucca to Tweed Heads.

Students from Years 4-12 can log on and receive live one-on-one expert learning support in mathematics, science, English, assignment research and study skills.

Kids love yourtutor because it’s online, it’s immediate (there’s no need to book appointments and wait times are usually two minutes or less) and it’s anonymous. There’s no embarrassment and no peer pressure – just simple answers and explanations.

Why does BCU support yourtutor?

BCU recognises that often, when people live in regional areas, they don’t always have access to after school tutoring. Cost is another factor that can get in the way. yourtutor overcomes these limitations and brings educational advantage within reach of everyone with a library card.
