BCU International Stadium – Cheering on the Community

In late 2006 Coffs Harbour’s showcase sporting facility was renamed the BCU International Stadium. The renaming forms part of a three-year sponsorship agreement between BCU and Coffs Harbour City Council.

With its playing surface classified as one of the best in Australia, the BCU International Stadium has hosted numerous first-class sporting events as well as other social and cultural events. The stadium plays an important role in the sporting and cultural life of the Coffs Coast region, and has contributed millions of dollars to the local economy.

As the region’s largest community credit union, BCU has been an integral part of the development of the Coffs Coast for over 36 years.

‘This sponsorship is important to BCU. Being a community credit union is all about giving back. Many local businesses and community groups utilise and enjoy the top-class facilities provided by the stadium. Our sponsorship of the BCU International Stadium is one of the many ways we support local groups and achieve our goal of giving back to the community,’ said BCU Chairman, Gerry Regan.
