BCU Visa card with Apple Pay – a safer way to pay

Using your Visa card with Apple Pay, you can make contactless purchases for any amount using Face ID or Touch ID – no PIN required. Plus, it works with the devices you use every day.

It's a better way to pay with your Visa card, and it’s contactless, safe and easy. 

Apple Pay works wherever you can tap and pay. You can also use it online and in apps when you see Apple Pay at check-out.

Not a BCU Bank customer?

If you'd like to become a BCU Bank customer and start using Apple Pay, you can open a bank account online. It only takes a few minutes!

Set-up is simple

Add your card to Apple Pay in three simple steps.

Add your card

  1. Open the Wallet app.
  2. Tap the plus sign in the upper-right corner.
  3. Tap "Debit or Credit Card" and scan your card using your iPhone's camera or enter the card information manually*.

Visa or EFTPOS?

When you add your BCU Bank Visa card to Apple Pay, the card will default to the Visa network for payments with Apple Pay. To access the EFTPOS network:

  1. Open the Wallet app.
  2. Tap on your BCU Bank Visa card.
  3. Tap the ... button.
  4. Choose your preferred network.

If you used the BCU Bank app to add your BCU Bank Visa card to Apple Pay, only the Visa network will be available for purchases with Apple Pay. To access both the Visa and EFTPOS networks you will need to remove and re-add your Visa card using the steps above.

Add your card

  1. Open the Apple Watch app on your paired iPhone.
  2. In the My Watch tab, tap "Wallet & Apple Pay" and select "Add Card".
  3. Scan your card using your iPhone's camera or enter the card information manually*.

Visa or EFTPOS?

When you add your BCU Bank Visa card to Apple Pay, the card will default to the Visa network for payments with Apple Pay. To access the EFTPOS network:

  1. Double-click the side button on your Apple Watch.
  2. Select your BCU Bank Visa Debit card.
  3. Firmly press the display.
  4. Choose your preferred network.

If you used the BCU Bank app to add your BCU Bank Visa card to Apple Pay, only the Visa network will be available for purchases with Apple Pay. To access both the Visa and EFTPOS networks you will need to remove and re-add your Visa card using the steps above.

Add your card

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Tap "Wallet & Apple Pay" and select "Add Card".
  3. Tap "Debit or Credit Card" and scan your card using your iPhone's camera or enter the card information manually*.

Paying in stores

Apple Pay is the easiest way to pay in stores with your iPhone and Apple Watch. You can quickly check out using the devices you carry every day.

Paying in apps and on the web

Use Apple Pay to make purchases in all kinds of apps on your iPhone and iPad. Paying is as simple as selecting Apple Pay at checkout and completing the payment using Face ID or Touch ID.

Apple Pay is also the easier, safer way to pay online in Safari on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac, as you no longer have to create an account orfill out lengthy forms. Simply pay and go. You can also pay on your MacBook using Touch ID.*
