The BCU Bill Ussher Agricultural Grant was developed to support and grow success, innovation and employment in agricultural pursuits, while recognising the contribution to our region’s farming community by the late Bill Ussher, one of BCU’s founding directors and our first ever member.

The winner of the 2010 BCU Bill Ussher Agricultural Grant will receive $7,700 which can be used towards education to improve business practice, access new markets, introduce new stock or for field trips to explore farming best practice. The runner-up will receive $3,300.
