What is TrustDefender?

Developed by Sydney-based Symbiotic Technologies, TrustDefender acts like a force field, creating an encryption 'shield' that temporarily isolates the internet banking session between the member’s computer and BCU’s server. All unknown software and programs including viruses, malware, Trojans and spyware are locked out.

How do I get the software?

BCU members can download the TrustDefender software from the login page of BCU’s iBank free of charge.

Information, including full instructions on installing the program, is provided. Installation does not take long, and once installed, TrustDefender protects your personal information while transacting online via iBank. Once installed, TrustDefender is activated and will provide security for BCU members every time you log on and transact via BCU’s iBank internet banking.

The software downloaded from iBank only applies to BCU's internet banking service. If you wish to have the same level of security on your PC while transacting with other financial institutions, you will need to Purchase TRUSTDEFENDER GOLD.

What does TRUSTDEFENDER GOLD cost?

BCU is providing TrustDefender to all registered BCU iBank users … FREE OF Charge! The purchase price of TRUSTDEFENDER GOLD is USD $19.95 and can be purchased through TrustDefender's website: TRUSTDEFENDER 

I’m not registered for iBank internet banking. What do I do?

If you’re a BCU member and would like to register for iBank internet banking, ring BCU on 1300 228 228 or ask at your local branch

I am not a BCU member. What do I do?
